Q&A

You have questions - we have answers!

What day is the ceremony?

We are getting married on Sunday, November 17th, 2024 and on that day, we will have two ceremonies to symbolize our union.

When is the Wedding Weekend?

The official #GetRiddhifortheTuckers Wedding Weekend dates are November 15-17, 2024. We will host three days of events for our family and close friends. You are more than welcome to add additional days before or after to extend your stay in the beautiful city of Las Vegas!

Who can I bring?

You are more than welcome to travel with whomever you would like. Official wedding guests will be noted in the RSVP. Please let us know if we missed anyone or if you have any questions.

Are children welcome?

Yes! Children are welcome. Please feel free to bring your children and enjoy a family trip in addition to our wedding weekend. If you choose to consider this an extended kid-free weekend away with your boo, that's perfectly fine as well! There are plenty of adult-only experiences in Las Vegas! Either way, let us know in the RSVP so we can plan meals accordingly. Thank you!

What is the best way to RSVP?

We will be sending out formal wedding invitations for the wedding events leading up to the ceremony in mid-August. You can RSVP for all events on our website. See the "RSVP" tab above.

When is the RSVP Deadline?

The deadline is Tuesday, October 15th, 2024. If you do not RSVP by then we will assume you will not be attending.

How do we book our room?

There is a link provided under the 'Booking & Travel' tab where you are able to book your rooms under our room block at the Red Rock that we have reserved. You are also more than welcome to stay anywhere you wish on the Las Vegas Strip or downtown. There is no requirement to stay on property.

How do we book our flights?

Since we have friends and family coming from all over the country and globe, there is no group rate that we can take advantage of, so we ask that everyone book their own flights to and from Las Vegas. We envy our friends who are within driving distance!

How does transporation between the airport and resort work?

You are empowered to make your own transportation choices. Often popular resorts have free transportation to and from the airport and Las Vegas Strip. We encourage you to leverage ride share and rental car options based upon your budget, comfort, flexibility and needs.

Where can I get Indian clothes for the Hindu Ceremony?

Fear not, we have put together an outfit guide, check it out here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cjL9p_0dzRvBjZYSILqqUHXCjRVpdWdDJIws5dPQKLE/edit?usp=sharing Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before/during the wedding?

Once you have RSVP'd, you and your guests will be added to a WhatsApp broadcast group. This way we can communicate with the entire wedding group and you can directly message us, without worrying about spamming all the guests.

What if I can't make it to the Wedding?

If you find yourself unable to attend our wedding, please know that we completely understand. We know life's commitments and circumstances can sometimes get in the way and while we would be thrilled to have you celebrate with us, we want you to prioritize what's best for you. We will be sure to share photos, videos, and updates from the special day so you can still feel connected and be part of our celebration in spirit. Your presence in our lives is what truly matters, regardless of the physical distance. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you'd like to send your well wishes to us, please feel free to reach out. Your support and love mean the world to us, and we'll be thinking of you on our big day!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Your presence is the greatest present we could ask for! For friends and family who have expressed an interest, we’ve created an online registry. Since we'll be traveling back to Seattle after the wedding, we kindly request that you do not bring any physical gifts. Your good wishes and company are more than enough for us. We truly value the effort you've put into being a part of our celebration and want to make things as easy as possible for everyone.

What is the best way to contact you if I have additional questions?

Please feel free to reach out to the bride/groom or their parents directly with any questions you have! This wedding has taken a lot of planning so that it can be seamless for our guests. Our wedding email is getriddhiforthetuckers@gmail.com
